Kimberly K. Gehrke, 63 years old, passed away on June 13, 2026.

Kim will be remembered for her strength, independence and the love she had for her two boys and three grandchildren.

Kim grew up in Black Hawk, SD. She played softball, played the guitar, sang in the choir and loved to go rock hunting. She would never pass a pile of rocks without stopping to try and find her favorite one. Kim’s greatest accomplishments were her two sons, Blain and Brett. Kim also loved her three grandchildren very much; Atlas, Orion, and Maizelynn were the joys of her life.

Kim is survived by her sons Blain (Danielle), Brett (Cheryl), three grandchildren, Atlas, Orion, Maizelynn, two step-children Corkin and Catelyn, her mother Betty, sisters Kathy and Debbie, niece Kaitlin, nephew Khyler, and many friends.

She joins heaven with her dad Arlow and grandparents.

Her service will be held at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel on Friday June 19, 2026, at 3:00pm. Inurnment will be at Bear Butte Cemetery.
