Larry Radeke Jones passed away on December 30, 2023, at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD after suffering ill health for quite a while.

Larry was born on March 8, 1947, in Stitzer, WI, the son of Rossell and Agnes (Hahn) Jones. Larry graduated in 1965 from Fennimore High School. He married Cayla Puckett on September 5,1969. They had one son, Shawn, and one daughter, Marty. Larry was an over-the-road truck driver for his entire career. He began driving commercial vehicles when he was 18 years old where he learned to drive a dump truck for Becker and Tuckwood in Lancaster, Wisconsin. He hauled across the entire United States from coast to coast and border to border. His favorite route was when he was heading back through South Dakota to see his family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cayla; son, Shawn; daughter, Marty (Andrew) Heinle; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Melba Ginter, Slyvia Gilberts and Marcene (Harlow) James.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Rod and June Puckett and two brothers-in-law Robert Ginter and Max Gilberts.
