LENNIE DEAN WALLEEN, of Hot Springs, South Dakota passed from this earth into heaven early Thursday morning, December 17, 2020 at the age of 85.

Lennie was an only child and is survived by his two loving daughters, Deannie and Jody K, and his grandson, Kody Dean who adored him beyond measure and will miss him greatly.

Lennie was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner where he especially loved getting involved in helping his community. He also enjoyed supporting the local "Boys Home".

As a retired Structural Ironworker, Lennie was able to realize his life long dream of opening his "Classic Car" business. In his lifetime, Lennie  proudly rebuilt not one but two 1940 Ford Coupes (his favorite car of all) completely from stock.  He was the kind of man who would always help another person in need. Lennie loved to be outdoors fixing any broken thing, mowing his lawn and everyone else's too. He'd shovel everyone's snow, and he'd frequently be found up on someone else's roof fixing something.  Lennie was a "Cat Whisperer" and any stray cat in a 10 mile radius would find his way to Lennie's house where he would feed, water and love his furry friend.
