Lenny Tollefson, born Lenny Hudson on February 25, 1956, passed away on January 19, 2026, when heaven gained an amazing angel.

Lenny was born to Bill and Francine Hudson. Family was the center of her world, along with a deep and steady faith in God that guided her throughout her life. She had a heart larger than life and was always ready to help anyone in need. Kind and compassionate, Lenny always chose to see the good in others. She also had a deep love for animals and held a special place in her heart for them.

Life was not always easy for Lenny, but she met its challenges with faith, strength, bravery, and resilience. Her journey carried her on many adventures, including the one that led her to her soulmate, Owen Tollefson. After his passing, she missed him dearly and looked forward to the day they would be together again.

Lenny was preceded in death by her beloved son, Casey Jurisch; her best friend and former husband, Mike Jurisch; her parents, Bill and Francine Hudson; her brother, David Hudson; and her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

She is survived by her son, John Jurisch; her daughter, Jenni Jurisch; her grandson, Micah Jurisch; her granddaughter, Mahala Jurisch; and her special friend, Jim Gillen. She is also survived by her siblings: Greg (Sandy) Hudson, Mary (Shannon) O’Grady, Billy Hudson, Wayne Hudson, and Brad Hudson; her aunt, Helen Vanderberg; her uncle, Adam Hudson; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.

A celebration of Lenny’s life will be held on February 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Piedmont.
