Obituary

Leotta Eileen Keyser, 69, Deadwood, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at the David M. Dorsett Health Care Center in Spearfish.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Charley Conger officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. at the Prairie City Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.

Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis is in charge of arrangements.

Leotta was born Aug. 15, 1936, at Boring, Ore., to Bernard and Clara (Van Den Berg) Stoltz. Her father was in road construction, so the family moved throughout South Dakota for many years. She attended high school in Lead and has lived the past 10 years in Deadwood.

Leotta loved being with her family. She also enjoyed reading, birds, and shopping.

Survivors include her father, Bernard Stoltz, Sturgis; one son and his wife, Lonnie and Sandy Keyser, Belle Fourche; three daughters, Linda and Gerald Galbraith, Rapid City, Laurna Keyser, Spearfish, and Lori and Rob Penor, Rob, Casper, Wyo.; one brother, Douglas and Judith Stoltz, Rapid City; one sister, Bernita Grohmann, Belle Fourche; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Her mother preceded her in death.
