LeRoy T. Outka, 91, of Sturgis and formerly of Enning, SD passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at a Rapid City Nursing Home. LeRoy was born on October 26, 1915 in Bonita Springs, SD to Theodore H. and Anna C. (Ening) Outka. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Harris on December 23, 1939 in Lemmon, SD. LeRoy was a longtime rancher in the Enning, SD area. He enjoyed playing bridge, horseshoes, fishing, and hunting. In 1980, LeRoy and Evelyn retired to Sturgis from their ranch which was later sold in 1982. LeRoy is survived by 2 daughters LaVon Williams of Bonners Ferry, ID and Lois Davis of Rapid City; 2 sons, Randall Outka and Thomas (Teddy Ann) Outka, all of Sturgis; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and wife Evelyn in January 1989. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 10:30 am at Black Hills Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Sturgis with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 8:30 until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
