Belle Fourche - Lewis D. Rhoden, 67 of Belle Fourche, died January 15, 2012 at the Spearfish Regional Hospital. He was a Special Forces Green Beret Ranger of the United States Army, 173rd Airborne Brigade, performed three tours in Vietnam, where he was wounded in combat. He retired after 23 years of service, spanning 1961 to 1984, highly decorated, with distinguished honors. Survivors include his wife, Cobra Rhoden, of Belle Fourche and two cousins, Robert, of Belle Fourche and Bronwyn, of western Washington, State. Graveside Services will be 10:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with military honors conducted by the Ellsworth Air Force Base Honor Guard.
