Lillian Rose Herren, 78, Dupree, died Thursday Dec. 21, 2006, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Herren, Spearfish, and Merle Herren, Dupree; one daughter, Sonja Herren-Clark, Vancouver, Wash.; five brothers, Gail Vrooman, Eagle Butte, Gordon Vrooman, Sheridan, Wyo., Leroy Vrooman, Black Hawk, Ralph Vrooman, Fort Pierre, and Earl Vrooman, Wassila, Alaska; two sisters, June Foley, Wessington, and Jesse Clausen, Sioux Falls; 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Herren. Visitation will be for one hour before 11 a.m. services on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Congregational Church in Dupree. Burial will follow at Dupree Cemetery.

A memorial has been established. Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis is in charge of arrangements.
