Linda Mae Freier, 72, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. Her family was by her side. She was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Chamberlain to Lloyd and Mildred (Wood) Nedved.

Linda was happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved animals (especially horses), football, and arguing politics. Linda cherished the simpler things in life.

Linda is survived by her sister, Judy Abbott of Gillette, WY; brother, Alan (Mary) Nedved of Pierre, SD; three children, Kathy (Brett) Helmer of Omaha, NE, Barb (Tim) Reiman of Black Hawk, SD, and Chuck (Jennifer) Freier of Castle Rock, CO; five grandchildren, Sarah Reiman, Kelly Helmer, Wyatt and Shaylea Freier, and Korutney Freier Rose; and one great-grandchild, Mckenna Rose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mildred Nedved; and her daughter, Lori Jean Heezen.
