Linda Kay Hitson, 67, of Sturgis, South Dakota, passed away on September 23, 2022, after battling many illnesses since having Covid-19.

Linda was born on August 23, 1955, to John David and Lola Elaine Hitson in Klamath Falls, Oregon. After Linda graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1973, she went on to earn her CNA title and, at 18, she became a mom to a beautiful baby girl, April, in 1974 with Nicholas Castriotta.

In 1976, Linda married Doug Morris in Klamath Falls. They had a beautiful baby girl, Laurie.

In 2012, Linda retired and spent her time with her girls and grandchildren. She enjoyed her girls, her grandchildren, and her cat, April. She loved all animals, especially orcas and frogs. She had an amazing heart; always ready to help whoever she could.

She is survived by her daughters, April Huntley, and Laurie Morris; son-in-law, Jeramie Huntley; grandchildren, Breanna Winters, Kaylea Winters, Mary Harmon, Connor Harmon, Alex Harmon, Rachel Suckow, and Vincent Suckow; great grandchildren, Michael Bradley, Rowan Hardy, Harley Manuel, Kodell Field, Rayden Newlander, Adely Fisher, Delilah Newlander, Elizabeth Martin, and Edward Martin.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lola and John Hitson; brother, David Hitson; sister, Barbara Hitson; great granddaughter, Jazmine Crowder; and her grandparents, Thelma and Ora Foltz.

Services will be held at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD, Saturday, October 8, 2022, 10:00 a.m.
