Linda Lu TwoCrow, age 69, of Sturgis passed away on December 21, 2021. She was born on July 29, 1952, in Lubbock, TX, to Billy and Mary Gilmore. She is remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, Mom, Sister, Nana, and great-Nana. Linda served in the US Army and was very active in veteran causes. She was known for her lifelong career as a pet groomer (really the absolute best groomer!), her passion and love for the Native American culture and tradition, jewelry making, business owner, caretaker, and devoted giggler with a contagious smile! Most importantly, Linda was a devout Christian. Linda was a very social and engaging person who enjoyed being with people from all walks of life. She was an active member of Jenks Avenue Church of Christ in Panama City, Florida and most recently joined the Sturgis Church of Christ where she attended service every Sunday in the service of our Lord.
Linda is predeceased by her loving husband, Roger TwoCrow, and her parents, Bill and Mary Gilmore. She is survived by her sister, Laura Gilmore; her children, Jeff (Laurie) Gilmore, Julie (Radly) Opeka, Brad (Marsha) Wise, and Danny (Nikki) Two Crow. She leaves behind beautiful grandchildren who were the light of her life - Brittani and Summer Haag, Kelsea and Cameron Wise, Noah, Josie, and Alexcia Two Crow, and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD. Committal service will follow with military honors at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
