IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lloyd Milton
Nohava
February 3, 1940 – March 21, 2020
Lloyd M. Nohava was born February 3, 1940, to Joan and Stanley Nohava. He passed away March 21, 2020.
Lloyd lived most of his life in Sturgis. He married Shirley Philipsen and together they had Allen, Randy, and Sandy. Lloyd was a man of many talents from working on cars to being a master carpenter. He worked for Hilt construction for many years. He also enjoyed having his own businesses such as Phillips 66 gas station, South Pine Motel, Bootlegger, and most importantly, Nohava's Gardens. This green house and small engine shop were more than a business to Lloyd and his family. It was where many of this family's favorite memories were made. Whether they were gathered around the pot-bellied stove visiting, elbow deep in a basin of dirt, or running away from an unruly goose or turkey, the memories are endless and will never be forgotten.
Left to cherish the life of Lloyd are his sisters, Judy Caughron and Claire Conrad; son, Randy (Brenda) Nohava; son-in-law, Marty Plaggemeyer; nine grandchildren, Richard, Charlene, Wyatt, Desarae, Shyla, Coye, Jocelyn, Holly, and Beth; and eleven great-grandchildren, Avery, Luke, Kaeden, Caleb, Lillyanrose, Teagan, Ariah, Huntley, Rane, Trigg, and Kinley.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Stanley; brothers, Junior and Peter; and children, Allen and Sandy.
There will be a celebration of Lloyd's life at a later date.
