Lola Mae Kruse passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the age of 91.

She was born on a farm near Batesland, South Dakota.

Lola graduated from Batesland Highschool and then from beauty school in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1948, she married Stanley Bennett Kruse and they lived on a farm near Batesland.

In 1949, Lola gave birth to her son, Brian Russell Kruse.

Later the family moved to Belle Fourche, South Dakota where she was employed as a Hospital Administrator and also served one term as Hospital Accountant President.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; two children; her parents; two sisters, and one brother.

Lola is survived by her son, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Black Hills National Cemetery with Pastor Mark Schutz officiating.
