He lived a fulfilled life. After graduating high school at Fairfax, SD, he joined the U.S. Army and served our country overseas. After his honorable discharge, he went to South Dakota Southern State Teachers College in Springfield where he met Cleone. They married April 25, 1948, and spent 67 loving years together raising 8 children. During his teaching tenure, he taught mathematics and industrial arts, as well as coached various sporting teams for many different schools in South Dakota, Iowa, Oregon and Arizona. In the summers, he would be found spending time on the family farm outside of Fairfax, SD. He loved music and played his accordion for many years. First and foremost he loved his family and could always be found filming their time together.
He will always be loved and missed by all.
