Loretta L. (Simon) Bachand, 80, Glendale, AZ, died Monday, September 16, 2019, in Glendale, AZ.

She was born August 6, 1939, to George and Elsie Simon in New Underwood, SD. Loretta was raised in Hereford, SD, on the Belle Fourche River. She graduated from Sturgis High School. Loretta was an RN, working in South Dakota and Arizona. She was a very caring person.

Loretta is survived by two sisters, LaVonne Symonds, Longmont, CO, and Bonita Even, Longmont, CO; one brother, Darrell Simon, Deadwood; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Jr" Bachand; and one brother, Ardell Simon; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
