RAPID CITY | Lorna O. Gallentine, 94, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. Lorna was born August 7, 1920 to J.T. and Hazel (Chilcote) Williams in Hot Springs. She attended grade and high school in Oelrichs graduating in 1939. She attended Teachers College in Madison and taught elementary grades in Fall River County for 10 years. She went to Beauty School in Bismarck, ND and Greene's Beauty School in Rapid City. She taught at Greene's Beauty School, owned her own salon, "House of Charm", and then went in to sales. In February of 1948, Lorna married the love of her life, Pat Gallentine in Hot Springs. She loved the Black Hills and enjoyed hiking with the Volksmarch group. Lorna is survived by her loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pat; her parents; brothers, Verne and G.P. Williams; and sisters, Lois Vogelgesang and Lenore Gaebler. Services are pending.
