Obituary

Lorraine L (Douglas) Williams was born July 21, 1933, in Isabel, South Dakota, to Ralph and Margaret (Sweeney) Douglas. She passes away November 2, 2026. She attended school in Isabel and spent much of her life working hard and caring for others.

Lorraine worked at Red Roebuck Drug in Isabel for 13 years, until the business closed. She later moved to Faith, SD, where she worked at Faith Hospital and Nursing Home. After moving to Rapid City, she worked at Ben Franklin. Lorraine went to earn her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and lovingly cared for several elderly patients throughout the Sturgis and Rapid City areas.

Lorraine was well known for her wonderful cooking, humor, and most importantly her deep love for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren Teddy Jr., Morgan and Nathan, whom she loved more than all the stars in the sky, her love for them was immeasurable and they held a special place in her heart.

Survivors include her daughter Margaret (Tony) Keel; granddaughter Morgan Keel; grandson Nathan Keel, her son Teddy Williams and several nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved grandson Teddy Williams Jr., her parents, and her brothers and sisters.

Lorraine will be remembered for her caring heart, her love of family, her wonderful cooking, and the lasting love she shared with those closest to her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memory she created and the love she gave will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

Special heartfelt thanks to Sturgis Long-Term Care for the love, compassion, and kindness you showed our mom.
