Obituary

Lottie Anna Chamberlain was born February 7, 1922, to Edward and Daisy Chamberlain. Lottie had four older sisters: Evelyn, Vivian, Lola, and Josephine. After marrying Arthur Ray Morgan in Vermillion, SD, they settled in Sturgis, SD, around 1951.
Lottie had many careers throughout her life. She worked at Spic and Span Cleaners, was a telephone operator, clerked at the Dime Store, held a position at Fort Meade, and worked in the Clerk of Courts and Treasurers office in Sturgis.
After Arthur passed away, Lottie spent her spare time taking care of grandchildren and giving unloved dollies a second chance with loving makeovers and beautiful clothes that she made herself. It was many years later, when Lottie met and married Harold J. Kelley. They spent their time together at their cabin in Boulder Canyon and camping with family.
When Harold passed away in 1994, Lottie moved to Clearmont, WY, to be closer to her daughter, MaryAnn, her husband, Robert, and three grandsons. Around 2007, Lottie moved to Gillette, WY, where she lived independently for several years. Over the next 10 years, Lottie spent time with both Bill and Alta and MaryAnn and Bob.
In 2016, Lottie made the transition to the Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, WY. She was always happy and sang regularly for all the residents. She made everyone smile with her beautiful heart and happy songs.
Lottie passed away peacefully at the Sheridan Manor with family at her side on January 24, 2019.
Lottie is survived by two sons, William Morgan and wife, Alta, and Mike Morgan and wife, Karen; and one daughter, MaryAnn Greear and husband, Robert; and a daughter-in-law, Joan Morgan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, both spouses, Arthur Ray Morgan, and Harold J. Kelley: one son, Robert D. Morgan and her sisters, Evelyn, Vivian, Lola and Josephine.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral chapel.
