DEADWOOD - Luis Cisneros, 81, Deadwood, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Verla Cisneros, Deadwood; one daughter, Tamara Lynn Cisneros, South Pasadena, Calif.; four brothers, Tony Cisneros, Fallbrook, Calif., Ernie Cisneros, Phoenix, Ore., Bob Cisneros, Los Angeles, and Memo Cisneros, Atlanta; and six sisters, Carlotta Hernandez, Los Angeles, Christine Hernandez, Las Vegas, Angie Schmidt, Portland, Ore., Nena Walverton, Modesto, Calif., Esther Swartzbauch, Glendale, Calif., and Rose Garcia, Fresno, Calif.
Following his wishes, his body was cremated. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with Chaplain Willard Olsen officiating, and military honors by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard. Family and friends may gather at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis prior to leaving for the cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the Deadwood-Lead Swim Team.
