Lyle "Boojie" Spaulding, 78, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 in Belle Fourche.

He was born on January 15, 1939, to Harold and Sophia (Ballander) Spaulding in Deadwood.

Boojie leaves behind his wife, Lucy; daughter, Tracy (Travis) Glenney; son, Lavern Spaulding; brother, Jody Spaulding; sister, Yvonne Hendrickson; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Spaulding; mother, Sophia Spaulding; brothers, Harold, Donnie, Lanny, and Lavern Spaulding; and sisters, LaVeve Baggley, Veronica Gruba, and Joleen Spaulding.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is planned for Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10 am at Black Hills Funeral Home. The family will be having a reception at the VFW in Deadwood immediately following the service.
