Maggie lost her brave and long-fought battle with cancer on September 19, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Pierre, SD, on March 22, 1949, to John and Joyce Maltaverne.

Maggie is survived by her loving husband, Donovan Renner, of Central City, SD; her son, Mike (Jen) Maltaverne of Teton Valley, ID; her granddaughter, Emily (and mom, Chris) Maltaverne of Bozeman, MT, as well as special dog, Sage; sister, Marylin (Fred) Brosnahan of Spearfish, SD; brother, Walt Maltaverne of Spearfish, SD; nieces, Rachelle (Lyle and Kenna) Schneider of Spearfish, SD, and Nikki (Andrew and Addie) Clem of Belle Fourche, SD; and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, John; mother, Joyce; and little sister, Mary.

Cremation has taken place at Maggie's request. A Celebration of Life has been planned for Sunday, October 30 ^th from 1 to 4pm at the Snappers Club in Spearfish City Park.

Maggie had a very special relationship with her hospice nurse, Megan, and was an ardent supporter of the Artemis House in Spearfish. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider making a donation to either organization on her behalf.
