Margaret Mary O’Neill, 82, of Piedmont, South Dakota, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the Hospice House in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Born to Richard B. and Mary Alice O’Neill on March 22, 1944, in Rochester, Minnesota, Margaret spent her life helping others heal. She enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife-watching, reading, gift-giving, and children- especially her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her four daughters, three sons-in-law, and nine grandchildren:

· Cara (David) Wise, Ryan (Emma) and Nat

· Kathy Beaulieu

· Leslie (Jon) Thorson, Gabriel and Isaac

· Jeanne Marie (Marc) Siegfried, Lily, Ian, Anna, Michael, and Shiloh

and her brother William B. O’Neill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Richard Thomas O’Neill.
