Sturgis - Marian K. Taves, 60 of Sturgis, passed away April 1, 2012 at the Sturgis Regional Hospital. Survivors include a dear friend, Fred Lange, Sturgis; a son, Josh Taves, Sturgis; a daughter, Brandie (Darrin) Hill Hastings, Oklahoma; a sister LeRae (Larry) Herman, Mobridge and two grandchildren, Megan and Holly Hill, Hastings, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie "Bud" and Alta Whitney and one brother, Albert Whitney. Visitation will be 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held from 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Buckle Tree, 1063 Main Street, Sturgis, South Dakota. Time of Fellowship at 7:00 p.m.
