Marion G. Bock 91 of Osage, WY passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Weston County Health Services in Newcastle, WY.

As per Marions wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle will be held at a later date.

Marion was born to Earl V. and Eva J. (Adkins) Johnson July 19, 1917 in Newcastle, WY. Marion was an active partner in Johnson, Bock, Johnson Co. and the family ranch until retirement. In her younger years she enjoyed playing bridge in the Osage Bridge Club. Her main joy in life was her family.

She was a lifetime member of 1st United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, DAR, Daughter of the Nile, and Eastern Star.

Survivors include her children Larry D. Bock and wife Sandra A. of Newcastle, Nancy L. Bock of Osage and husband Steve M. Smith of Newcastle, sister-in-law Marguerite E. Johnson of Osage, 7 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; her husband O.C Bock, daughter Karen S. Townsend, granddaughter Eva Marie Bock, grandson Corey D. Bock, parents, brother Keith L. Johnson, and niece Sandra Y. Johnson Worden.

In lieu of Flowers a memorial in Marions name may be sent to the 1st United Methodist Church or the Eastern Star scholarship fund both of Newcastle.
