Marjorie May Miller, 81, Lead, formerly of Tonawanda, N.Y., died Friday, August 18, 2006, at the Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006, at the St. John's Episcopal Church in Deadwood, 405 Williams Street, with Father Tom Campbell and Father John Wedgwood officiating.

Marjorie was born January 11, 1925, to Herbert and May (Forbes) Preston in Youngstown, N.Y. On April 5, 1945, she married Robert Elmer Miller. They had one son, Robert Herbert Miller, born Jan. 21, 1946, who died April 28, 1967, in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam serving his country.

Survivors include two nephews, Donald K. (Joanne) Miller, Grayson, G.A., James Preston, Homestead, Fla.; three nieces, Kathleen (Ross Bryant) Preston, Lead, , Nancy Preston, Ft. Bragg, Calif., Mary (Mike) Hurd, Granbury, Texas; numerous grand nieces, grand nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, and brother.
