Mark "Mac" Bell was born July 13, 1936, in Dallas, SD, to Elmer and Hazel (Brumbaugh) Bell. Mark was stationed at Portsmouth AFB, New Hampshire, and served in the Korean War as an Aircraft Radio Repairman. Following his honorable discharge, he married his wife of 58 years, Priscilla Frasch from Bonesteel, SD, on November 26, 1958.
Mac retired from the Black Hills National Forest Service. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and spending time working in his wood shop.
Mac died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at his home in Rapid City.
Survivors include, his wife Priscilla; his sister, Joy (Don) Stevenson; his sons, Timothy (Brenda) and Ricky (Dawn) Bell; his daughters, Lynn Koscielski and Pamela (Brian Cotter) Bell; his granddaughters, Lisa (Carlos) Diaz and Amanda McDaniels; his grandsons, Nicholas Koscielski, and Kade and Anthony Bell; his step-grandchildren, Megan (Zack) Brackens and Jesse Weber; his great-great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kylar, and Lillian; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be held November 28, 2016, at 1:00 PM at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with Reverend Herb Cleveland officiating.
