KEYSTONE | Marlon Leroy Knutson, 63, of Keystone, died July 22, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Marlon was born in Sisseton, South Dakota in 1953. He was one of nine children. He moved to Rapid City in 1961, then on to Keystone after leaving his childhood home.

Marlon is survived by two sons, Hank Knutson (Destiny), Sturgis, and Dusty Carver, Wyoming; a daughter, Dawn Levi (Jefrey), Sturgis; two brothers, Donald (Dora), Temecula, CA; and Wayne (Ginna), Lexington, NC; three sisters, Janice Just (Rodney), Rapid City; Marlys Woodle, Rapid City, and Carol Strouse, Windsor, CA; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by three sisters, MaryAnn, Ardella, and JoeAnn.

A private family burial will take place at the Keystone Cemetery. A gathering will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2016, at 5 p.m. at the Red Garter Saloon in Keystone.
