FAIRBURN | Marvin H. Hocum, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He will be missed by many, including his wife, Carole Hocum, Fairburn; his sons, James, Paul, and Jon Hocum, Minnesota; his daughter, Sherri Danley, Black Hawk; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his four legged helper and best friend, Abby. He is also survived by his two brothers, Dan and Kirtes, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a young son, Michael Hocum.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held at a later date.

Marvin was a good man, may he rest in peace.
