Marvin "Marv" V. Kuntz, 63, Lead, passed away on December 4, 2012 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lead, with Father Bob Baden officiating. Inurnment will occur at a later date.

Marv was born on March 13, 1949, in Dickinson, ND and graduated high school in 1967, at Jamestown, ND. He worked in various jobs throughout his life, including the Homestake Mine, the Deadwood casinos, and construction jobs. He was also an AA sponsor for more than thirty years.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Roland) Enninga, Lead, Eric (Kate) Kuntz, Sioux Falls, and Paul Kuntz, Nevada; his brother, Ralph (Deb) Kuntz, Spearfish; his sister, Lorretta (Ray) Kuntz, Oregon; grandchildren, Christina, Elora, Jesse, and Connor Enninga; nieces, Nicole Hondl, and Ashley Kuntz; Nephews, Troy Kuntz, Shannon Hondl, and Shawn Hondl; and his faithful cat, Felix who followed him always.

Marv is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Josephine Kuntz.
