Mary Johanna Hutter Baker, 95, Belle Fourche, died at the Belle Fourche Health Care.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel on Tuesday with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at St. Martin's Chapel in Sturgis with burial following at the St. Aloysius Cemetery.
Parents: John and Anna (Tambornino) Hutter.
Preceded in death by one brother and 5 sisters
Places lived: Plainview Country, ranch north of Sturgis, and Belle Fourche, SD.
Schooling: high school at St. Martin's.
Spouse: Carl A. Baker, St. Martin's Chapel, October 14, 1941.
Children: sons; M. Baker, C. T. Baker, N. Baker, G. Baker, S. Baker and daughter; P. Schild
22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. 1 granddaughter preceding her in death
Memberships: St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Blue Army.
Mary was the first child baptized in Saint Patrick's Church in Pedro. He husband was a rancher/farmer.
