Matthew S. Leetch, Jr., 73, Piedmont, passed away on October 16, 2014, in Loveland, Colorado after complications from heart surgery.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 10, 2014, at Grace United Methodist Church in Piedmont with Pastor Karl Kroger officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Cemetery.

He was born in St. Charles, South Dakota on March 06, 1941, to Matthew and Regina (Horst) Leetch. He went to school and grew up in Colome and Winner and was a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran Church. Matt loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for gold panning, fishing, and watching boxing on television. Matt always looked for the good in people, and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Gerry Leetch of Piedmont; daughter, Debbie Gleason (Robin) of Eagle River, AK; sons, Mike Leetch of Rapid City, Arlon Leetch (Merri) of Sturgis, and Dan Leetch of Rapid City; grandchildren, Kyle, Drake, Skyler, Alexandrea, Dusty and Taylee; one great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Emmogene Hysell of Winner, Marcelline Dykeman of Spearfish, Marcella Kaiser of Spearfish; brother, John (Margaret) Leetch of Belle Fourche; and many other beloved family members.

He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Leetch; parents, Matthew and Regina (Horst) Leetch; sister, Patricia Leetch; and brothers, Richard, William, and Robert Leetch.
