Mattie M. Carlsen, 90, of Fairview, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at the Belle Fourche (S.D.) Regional Senior Care Center.

Mattie was born in Montana March 14, 1916, to Floyd and Cleta Ann Blevins Candee. She was married to Dean Moffat Carlsen (1921-2010) on June 3, 1944.

Visitation will be from noon until 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, S.D., and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday, May 3. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis. Burial will follow at the Black Hills National Cemetery.
