Maxine Chaffee Obituary
STURGIS - Maxine A. Chaffee, 90, Sturgis, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at her home. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Herron, Union Center; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, followed by a 7 p.m. vigil service, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Sturgis, with the Rev. Arnold Kari officiating. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Macular Degeneration Foundation and Central Meade County Ambulance Service.
