Maxine May Gross, 98, passed away on March 31, 2017 at Sturgis Regional Senior Care.
She was born on October 6, 1918 to Henry and Louise Pries in Iowa.
Maxine is survived by her sons, Gary (Sharon) Van Norman of Lead, South Dakota and Marc (Lee) Cornils of San Francisco, California and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise; sister, Caroline Grothaus; husbands, Wayne Van Norman, Alfred Cornils and Donald Gross; son, Danny Van Norman.
Cremation will take place and a service will be held at a later date.
