Michael Gene Ellis, 60, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Sturgis.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Ellis; and his former spouse, Carlen Jean Ellis.

He is survived by his mother, Alberta Van Cleave; sons, Creg Ellis and Charles Ellis; daughters, Malissa Cocktell and Chrisma Ellis; five grandchildren; brother Raymond Van Cleave; and his sister, Helen Miller.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
