Mike was born May 18, 1966, in Denver, Co, to Ervin and Delores Huber. He graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1984, and lived in Sturgis most of his life and held various jobs in that lifetime.

Michael learned music at a young age playing the saxophone and the accordion and most recently the guitar and drums. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed just being a kid with his nieces and nephews. He would frequently help his church, friends and family in whatever task was needed.

Mike marched to the beat of his own drum and found happiness in the fantastical, the outer limits of space, music and computers.

He will be remembered for his dry humor, jokes, generosity, kindness and willing to help and be there for us all. With the passing of his father in March, he was a blessing to his mother, Delores, and will be greatly missed.

Michael Anthony Huber, age 50, was called home to our heavenly Father after a short but tedious battle with Lymphoma cancer, December 1, 2016.

He is survived by his mother, Delores "Dee" Huber; his brother, Scott (Margaret) Huber, Portland, OR; two sisters, Sonja (Dalton) Peacock, Rapid City, SD, and Melissa (Loren) Ditsch, Omaha, NE; nieces and nephews; Sarah, Noelle, Erin, Aidan, Collin and Valerie and various family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Huber, grandparents, three cousins and two nieces and nephew.

We will mourn his passing and take comfort in his peace and joy with the Lord.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Nick Haasch officiating. Interment will be at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.

A memorial has been established to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis, SD.
