Michael “Mike” Robert Ingwersen, 72, left this earthly world on June 14, 2026, at the Ft. Meade VA Hospice, to the tunes of Led Zeppelin.

Mike was deeply loved by all who knew him. His humor, quick wit, and strong spirit will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kelly (Stan), Karma (Jamie), and Emily; nine grandchildren, Taylor, Baylee (Carl), Dylan, Megan, Rian (Sam), Trevor, Ellie, Grace and Liam; and six great-grandchildren, with another great granddaughter expected soon. He is also survived by his brother, John (Teresa); his sister, Michelle (Ron); three nephews; and many extended family members and close friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Aimee; his parents, Geri and Lyle; and his niece, Kimberly.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Ft. Meade VA Hospice for the extraordinary care, compassion, and support given to Mike and his loved ones. Their kindness brought comfort and peace during a difficult time and will never be forgotten.
