Michael "Mike" Kelley

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Michael "Mike" Kelley, 72 of Sturgis, SD passed away on December 3, 2024 in Chandler, AZ.  Mike spent most of his life in Sturgis and in the Black Hills area.

Mike graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1970.  He had a long career in law enforcement, and this is where he met the love of his life Kathy.  He then retired and started traveling with his wife Kathy and working as a campground volunteer.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, Jeeping through the hills, and talking to people all around the world on his HAM radio (KEøTUB).  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Harriet Kelley.  He is survived by his wife of 30 years Kathy Kelley: son Michael Kelley of Rapid City, and wife Erica of Rapid City: Son Josh Kelley of Rapid City: granddaughters, Hailey and MacKenzie: grandsons Rylee and Ethan (Shyanne); great-granddaughters Leah and Octavia; sister Mary K.: brother in-law Albert "Al" Sperb and wife Kaye.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
