Obituary

Michael Wayne Brown was born on January 18, 1959 in Newcastle, WY to William and Karen (Guilford) Brown. He attended school in Newell and Vale, and later worked to receive his GED. Mike worked at many places over the years, including Great Falls Transit in Montana, Farmers Feed and Seed in Sturgis, Black Thunder Mine in Wright, WY, and Merillat Cabinets in Rapid City.
When he wasn't working, Mike had many hobbies which he enjoyed. He loved to fill his time metal detecting or treasure finding, bicycling, collecting cards and antiques, watching mafia documentaries, and especially enjoyed watching Jeopardy and then discussing each episode with his mom. When he needed to unwind, he liked to fish or take a drive and listen to music. Mike was big into sports, and followed the LA Lakers and the Seattle Seahawks closely each season.
Above all, Mike loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, his beloved dog, Zeplin, and his best friends, Randy and Doug. A highlight in Mike's life came recently when he was reunited with his daughter, Clare Johnson, who was put up for adoption on September 4, 1986. He cherished what time he got to spend reconnecting with her.
