Michael Wurl passed away on July 15, 2026, in Sturgis, South Dakota. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026 aat 11:00 AM at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Michael Thomas Wurl was born March 12,1955 in Deadwood, SD to Thomas and Olivia Wurl.

He attended Lead High School, worked at Tom and Gary’s Body Shop in Deadwood. Following that he was a commercial truck driver.

Mike loved to hunt and fish and simply enjoyed hiking and using his electric bike around the Black Hills. He always enjoyed a good conversation and was open to new ideas.

He was an important pillar in his daughters and grandchildren's life; always there when needed. He is already so missed and forever loved.

Mike is survived by daughters Tanya and Elizabeth, six grandchildren, and one great grandson.
