Nancy Ruth Richmond     1937-2018

Nancy Richmond, 81, passed away at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Nancy was born, raised, and married her husband Dan in Brainerd, Minnesota. The couple lived in the greater Seattle, Washington area for the first 15 years of their married life. They moved to Rapid City, South Dakota in the fall of 1969 for what was expected to be a relatively short stay. They fell in love with the local area and people of West River and have lived here since that move in 1969.

She is survived by her husband, Dan; daughter, Kim; sons, Brian and Neal; in addition to grand and great grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins.

Nancy was a beloved wife, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her passion was her children and her home. She enjoyed bowling, ice skating and outdoor activities first with her children then the grand and great grandchildren.

She and Dan had been married 62 years on July 5th of this year.

Services were private and Nancy was cremated according to her wishes.
