Nanna Cathy passed away on March 10, 2021 at Hospice Home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, IA.  Memorials can be sent to Patti Boardman, 507 Coyote Trail, Box Elder, SD 57719.

Nanna Cathy was born on September 8, 1923 to Valeria and Joseph Fisne in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Newton Ransom High School and attended St. Peter's School of Nursing, New Brunswick, New Jersey as a cadet nurse.  She also attended West Palm Beach Jr. College in Florida where she received her RN nursing degree.  She worked as a nurse at several healthcare facilities.  Cathy also graduated from Capri College of Cosmetology in Dubuque and worked as a cosmetologist for several years.  She also worked at Dubuque Packing Company for eleven years.

Cathy loved to travel in her many motorhomes from where she lived and visited her family in Iowa, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, South Dakota, and her beloved Florida.  Her most recent residence was in Rapid City, SD.

She married Clarence Adams in 1946 in Harvey, Illinois at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  They had three children: Patti Boardman (Mike Brown), Rapid City, South Dakota; Val Adams, Dubuque, Iowa; and Trudi (Bob) Stauffacher, Monroe, Wisconsin.  Their marriage was annulled in 1964 and she married Anthony Falcone of New York in 1968 at the Royal Poinciana Chapel, Palm Beach, Florida.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Paolucci, Clarks Summit, PA; brother, Francis Fisne, Burlington, NJ; her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mary, Joseph Jr., Nicholas (Lillian), John (Antoinette), Leo, George, Margaret (Albert), and Gertrude ( Angelo); and her husband, Anthony Falcone.
