Nathaniel Dale Francis Buckley, 31, passed away January 31, 2025, at home.

"Nate" was born August 9, 1993, to Bill Buckley and Bonnie (Lausch) Hoffman in Rapid City, South Dakota. He joined his sister, Stephanie and brother, Thomas. Nate grew up in Black Hawk and graduated from Rapid City Central High School on May 27, 2012.  His son, Ryker was born in 2015.

Throughout his adult years Nate battled addiction which made life hard. But through it all he enjoyed finding new recipes and cooking, working out, hiking, and being outdoors.  He spent a short amount of time working as a server and found that he really liked it. And at the time of his passing, he was starting to put together ideas on starting his own cleaning business.

Nate has found the peace that he so desperately searched for here on earth. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Bonnie Hoffman; son, Ryker; brother, Thomas; sister, Stephanie; and his uncle, Buck.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Buckley; and his stepfather, Kevin Hoffman.
