Nona Mae "Peg" Johnson Donner was born to Bill and Verna Fellows on April 10, 1921.

She married Edgar Johnson on August 15, 1948, who welcomed Vern Anders and Peggy (Anders) Brengle as his own. They were blessed with two more sons, John E. Johnson and Bill Johnson. They ranched for years near Reva, South Dakota. Peg taught school for many years in Harding and Perkins counties. She earned her teaching degree in her 50's while teaching school in the winter and going to summer school at Black Hills Teachers College in Spearfish. After Edgar's passing, she married Lyle Donner and was blessed with 20 years together before his passing in 2018.

Peg enjoyed a good game of cards with pizza and beverage, crossword puzzles and loved to travel in the brown van on numerous trips.

She is survived by her four children; Vern Anders, Mud Butte; Peggy Brengle, Sturgis; John (Marilyn) Johnson, Piedmont, and Bill (Laura) Johnson, Reva. She has 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the Northwest Regional Bookmobile.
