Norma Jean Knight, of Rapid City, left this world suddenly on March 24, 2022, at age 70 with family by her side. She was a courageous daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was born to Joyce and Robert Jurisch on April 27, 1951, in Scenic, South Dakota.

Norma loved to spend time with her family and friends. For her, a quiet home wouldn't do. She was a skilled conversationalist and could find a friend in a stranger in minutes. She enjoyed a game of cards or a trip to Deadwood.

Survived by her long-term partner, Charlie Green; mother, Joyce (Chet)Whitney, and brother, Randy (Sherryl) Jurisch; her two children, Bobbi (Michael) Jackson and Scott (Lyndsay) Farnsworth; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and numerous other honorary family members.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 5-7 p.m., at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
