Belle Fourche - Norma J. Leddy, 73 of Belle Fourche, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 15, 1939 in Belle Fourche to Alfred and Julia (Roberg) Olson. She attended schools in both Gustave and Lead, SD. On April 19, 1962, she married Skip Kotek in Belle Fourche and to this union, a son, Danny was born. Skip and Norma later divorced. On May 14, 1968 she married Chuck Leddy in Sheridan, WY and it was here that she became the mother to Chuck's two children, Larry and Lila. They also had a girl of their own, Michelle. Chuck and Norma later decided to go separate ways after several happy years of marriage. She later met a special friend, Wayne Tracy and they spent many years together until Wayne's untimely death in 2010. She loved to spend time traveling with friends and family. Whether it be camping, boating or fishing, the great outdoors was her playground. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she looked forward to their visits whenever possible. Her favorite time of year was always Christmas. Together with Wayne, Norma would spend several days decorating their house and getting ready for the holidays. The spring of 1984 was one of her proudest moments in her life, when she completed her GED requirements and obtained her High School Diploma. Norma loved life and lived it to the fullest! Survivors include two daughters, Michelle (Michael) Goolsby, Troy, Illinois, and Lila (Clyde) Mutschelknaus, Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sons, Danny Kotek, Belle Fourche, and Larry (Lisa) Leddy, Newcastle, Wyoming; a sister, Leone Moncur, Belle Fourche; three brothers, Leroy (Esther) Olson, Lloyd Olson, and Duane (Lynn) Olson, all of Belle Fourche; four grandchildren, Noah Goolsby, Troy, Illinois, Brandon Leddy, Newcastle, Wyoming, Kelsie Kotek, Raymond, Washington and Cory Kotek, Sturgis; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Ruthie Vostad. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Julia (Roberg) Olson; a grandson, Kylin Kotek, and a special friend, Wayne Tracy. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 with a visitation two hours prior at St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche with Rev. Jeff Otterman officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche.
