Oliver A. Freimark, 86, Hot Springs, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014.

Oliver was born December 18, 1927, to John and Ernestina Freimark at Java, SD. Oliver served in the US Marine Corp from 1951 to 1953. He married Mary Jane Haynes in 1953 and moved to the family farm in Eureka, SD. Together they raised two daughters, Donna Marie and Debra Sue.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; two daughter, Donna (Lyle) Hartshorn and Debra (Al) DeBot; one sister, Darlene Ochsner; two brothers, Gordon and Emil Freimark; grandchildren, Darrell, Christopher, Travis, Lucas, Tanya, and Wendy; and great-grandchildren, David, Trevor, Hanna, Lynn, Carlee, Clayton, Ryan, Levi, Jacob, Lena. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Delphia Schick, Audrey Bauer, and Bonnie Stuckle; and his brother, Floyd.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs with Chaplain Loyd Nielson officiating. Burial with military honors will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery.
