Orval Howard Doak, age 90, of Hot Springs, passed away on August 19, 2018, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Home Veteran's Home in Hot Springs.

Orval was born on January 11, 1928, Logan Ohio, to Dale and Frances Doak. He served in the United States Navy from 1945, until his honorable discharge in 1948.

Orval enjoy working with his hands as a tool and die machinist for Lockhart and different Airplane companies, when he retired he continued inventing in his basement. As one of Jehovah's Witness he truly looked forward to the new world arrangement in paradise. Orval never new a stranger, he always felt free to approach you and tell you a story about his travels, inventions or paradise hope.
