Orvel R. "Butch" Curns passed away on July 4, 2023, in Surprise, Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, Carroll; son, Aaron; daughter, Heather; his grandchildren; his sister, Jeannie Curns Beug, of Sturgis, SD; brother, Timothy Curns of Black Hawk, SD.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 30, 2023, in Hot Springs, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Winner's Circle located at 733 Jensen Hwy.

Interment will be 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
