In Loving Memory of Pamela Kay Bartlett

Pamela (Pam) Kay Bartlett, 61, passed away on August 4th, 2026. She was born on August 16, 1964, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to James and Shirley Adams. She was one of six children. She grew up surrounded by family. 

Pam was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished her family more than anything. She is survived by her husband, Carl Bartlett whom she shared 42 years of marriage with; and her children, Sid (Josh) Wisser, Billy Bartlett, Amanda (Andrew) Williams, and Robert Bartlett. Brothers, Jim (Kathy) Adams, Joe (Sam) Adams, and sister Denise Adams. 

Her grandchildren were a special joy in her life. She leaves behind Bobby, Everett, Ila, Tayton, Akadain, Jocelyn, Khaleesy, SJ, Gage, Theo, Sabrina, Zoey, Alex, and Addison. And two great-grandchildren, Nova and Jaxon. They all brought her immense happiness. 

Pam found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved spending time with her friends and family, working in her garden and sharing the fruits of her labor with others. She especially enjoyed canning salsa, creating something from what she had grown and sharing it with the people she loved. She loved going camping. She loved crafting many things like hand dipped chocolates and baked goods. She loved putting puzzles together. She loved attending the annual Adams family reunion. 

She touched many people's hearts with her generosity throughout her life by giving them a place to stay, a ride to get food, rides to appointments, money for gas, babysitting their kids, or simply being a shoulder to cry on. She had a tremendously big and caring heart. 

Those who knew Pam will remember her for the love she gave so freely, the importance she placed on family, and the happiness she found in being surrounded by the people she cared about. Her greatest joy was watching her family grow and being part of their lives. 

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley, and James Adams; her mother-in-law, Helen Bartlett; her brothers, Chuck Adams, and Allen Adams; her sister-in-law, Sherri Adams; her son, Tony Bartlett. And many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Pam leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable space in their lives, the love, and memories she created will remain forever. 

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.

In honor of Pamela, her family has asked that any charitable donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
